Daily Card (14th May)

Today’s card was drawn from the Devil’s Acre lenormand deck.

This could be taken literally and refer to addiction of some kind however it could also be trying to tell you that you’ve been escaping from reality too much either through a physical addiction or through day dreaming or even video games. Sooner or later you’ll have to face what you’ve been escaping from. It’s better to face it now and to get it sorted than to leave it and let it get worse.

Daily Card (13th May)

Today’s card was drawn from the Devil’s Acre lenormand deck.

Sometimes you have to realise it’s not always about you. You might be stressed or unwell but someone in your life is suffering more than you and you have to put your feelings to one side to help them. It could seem like they want to be alone, but they really don’t, it’s time to show them you care. You need to be a rock and give them some stability. Show them that you will take care of things when it gets too tough.

Daily Card (27th December 2020)

Another daily Card from the Devil’s Acre Lenormand deck 😀

In England, if you’re not in a tier 4 area, you were able to visit friends and family on Christmas day. Many of course chose not to risk it even though they were permitted to. It was a strange Christmas and quite a sad one for those who couldn’t see their family at this time of year.

This card represents the comfort of home. It’s all about the sense of calm you get when you know you don’t have to go out and you can sit back and relax without feeling pressured to socialise.

For those of you who were able to see your family and friends, the message is that you can now finally relax in your own home without being surrounded by merry people. That day of forced happiness is over.

For those who were unable to see loved ones, try to appreciate how nice it is to celebrate Christmas in your own home without tons of people turning up to your door.

Finally, a message for everyone! No matter how you spent your Christmas, be glad that you were able to celebrate it in a home! be that a mansion, house, bungalow or flat. Many people in this world are without shelter, they can’t escape the cold, they don’t have family to go to. At this time of year, be thankful for what you have and try your hardest to help others who may not be as fortunate.

Daily Card (22nd December 2020)

I’ve not posted online much recently because I’ve fallen into having a pretty mad sleeping pattern. Today though, I’m less tired so I’m posting today’s card. I actually picked this card a couple of days ago and in a way it did apply to my life, although I’ve not been ill, just tired.

Whether you’re physically unwell or mentally unwell, today might be a good day to take some time out of your busy schedule to rest. Even if you don’t consider your ailments to be serious, they could easily become serious if you don’t allow your mind and body to rest and recover. Wrap up warm and watch a happy film or TV show, preferable one that you enjoyed as a kid.

Daily Card (16th December 2020)

Today’s card was drawn from the Devil’s Acre deck.

Sometimes people make mistakes and then regret it, other people regret not taking the opportunities that came their way. This card is not about times like that, it’s about times when you’re really not to blame. At the moment you may look at a problem in your life and realise that it is out of your control. It has nothing to do with what you did or didn’t do, it was all down to bad luck and misfortune. Remember that although it’s not been easy, it has been interesting. You’ve learnt so much from this, and you will find that by analysing everything that’s happened, you can feel in control again. Use what you’ve learned to start something new. Turn your unhappiness into art!
